Go into your program files and find the Alienware and then Command Center folder. Scroll down to AlienwareAlienFXtester.exe. Run that and see if it passes please. so i just recently bought an Alienware x17 R2. i'm loving it! however, i want to be able to toggle all of my light effects on and off without having to open the Alienware Command Center. there's a function-key shortcut that will turn off all the backlights of the keyboard, but it leaves the alien and stadium lights on the lid still lit. All of the lighting controls are within AWCC and if you uninstalled AWCC with LED lights off, it will remain that way I believe. Yeah I changed the settings and the lights are still not on.
